And He's Off!

Welcome to our blog!  We will use this blog as a way for those that know and love Jonny to keep up with his experiences and adventures as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  We are new at this blogging thing, so hopefully we can figure out what we're doing :)

Yesterday morning, we said an emotional yet exciting farewell to Jonny.  This morning, he sent a short email informing us that he has arrived in Bogata Columbia at the Missionary Training Center safely.  Yes!  He will be there for six weeks for language and missionary training.  He will then travel to Guayaquil, Ecador where he will serve for two years.

We will miss him terribly, but every time our hearts hurt, we are reminded of the glorious blessing that we have to share one of God's greatest spirits, and the message he will proclaim, with the people of Ecuador.  I'm sure it will be quite the ride for all of us!
